In December 2013, after years of planning, Gender & Sexuality Services was opened on the upper level of the Maucker Union, in the heart of the UNI campus. Our location within the Plaza level of the Maucker Union is also home to the Northern Iowa Student Government (NISG), Student Involvement, Military & Veteran Student Services, the Center for Multicultural Education, and International Engagement.
As a University resource center the mission of Gender & Sexuality Services is to "...promote healthy, engaged, successful LGBTQ+ students and allies. Gender & Sexuality Services provide a safe space, resources, and educational opportunities to advocate for an inclusive community."
