Lavender Graduation Celebration
Lavender Graduation is a celebration of LGBTQ+ students graduating in Spring, Summer, or Fall 2024. It is also a celebration of those who have contributed to our community over the last year.
This year's Lavender Graduation Celebration will take place on April 23rd, 2024, from from 6:30-8 PM in the Maucker Union Ballroom.
Students who intend to graduate this spring, summer, or fall are encouraged to participate. Registration for participation will be open until Tuesday, April 18th.
Join us to celebrate graduating students!
We will be honoring our graduating students in multiple ways this semester. Our primary way of recognizing students will be an in-person celebration on April 23rd, 2024. Students may also opt to pick up their lavender cord and certificate from GSS rather than attending the ceremony. Recipients of Lavender Awards will also be recognized at the ceremony.

UNI students, faculty, staff, and visiting community members are encouraged (but not required) to wear face coverings. Additional information can be found at forwardtogether.uni.edu.
This celebration is open to the campus community and graduates' invited guests.
Students who intend to graduate this spring, summer, or fall are encouraged to participate. If you are interested in participating as a Lavender Graduate, please register no later than Tuesday, April 18. Submissions for Lavender Awards will be accepted thru April 17.
