Donate Money to Gender & Sexuality Services
The primary way you can help our efforts is by donating money to our office through the UNI Foundation. If you are interested in contributing money towards our services or to benefit LGBTQ+ students at UNI, please call 319-273-6078 or email uni.foundation@uni.edu.
Donate Money to Scholarships
UNI has two LGBTQ+ scholarships which can receive donations. The Rainbow Fund annually awards an scholarship to a student involved with LGBTQ+ activism at UNI. The Thomas M. Davis Endowed Scholarship, which seeks to award scholarships specifically to transgender students. For more information, please contact us at lgbt@uni.edu.
Donate Items to the Center
Gender & Sexuality Services thrives on the support of our community. You can donate in kind to Gender & Sexuality Services through our Amazon wishlist. If you wish to donate something not on our list, please contact us at lgbt@uni.edu to ensure your gift will benefit our needs. We are not currently accepting books aside from titles on our wishlist.
Donate Time to the Community
We encourage our supporters to get involved with our Safe Zone Ally training to build a foundation to advocate for inclusive action in your workplace, homes and elsewhere in the world. We also have options for volunteering as well as for LGBTQ+ inclusive organizations to host a table at our annual Rainbow Reception.
