The University of Northern Iowa Strategic Plan prioritizes diversity and inclusion as well as community engagement, and connection to the LGBTQ+ community is prioritized through one of the most-anticipated events in the LGBTQ+ community: Pride! Our partnership with Cedar Valley Pridefest supports ongoing initiatives at UNI, including our annual Pride Week celebration in April and the ongoing work of Gender & Sexuality Services and UNI Proud.
